Things have been tense since the death of Iranian general Qasim Sulaimani in the US invasion. In response to the US invasion, Iran targeted two US targets in Iraq with ballistic missiles. According to Iranian claims, more than seventy people have been killed, most of them American soldiers. Of course, this number is based on exaggeration. Tensions are currently at their peak in the United States and Iran. Both countries are fully aware of their own limitations, so the tension will likely not go beyond a certain threshold. Iran’s leadership certainly did its best to convey the sentiments of its people and did not merely comment on passionate speech, but responded in a vigorous manner to a rogue state like the United States which is certainly praiseworthy.
The Muslim Ummah and the Pakistani people are particularly divided in the tensions between Iran and the United States. Pakistan has a large number of lovers from Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia. The majority of the Shi’ite Muslim community is supportive of Iran, while the majority of the Ahlul-Hadith and Deobandi schools of thought favor Saudi Arabia. The large number of Jamaat-e-Islami and other ordinary Pakistanis who transcend professional differences is regarded by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan as the true leader of the Muslim Ummah. After the US invasion of Iran, social media continues to have repeated and literally wars between anti-Iran and supporters.
Creates policies for each country’s own interests. Beliefs or emotions have no place in international relations. What could be more miraculous is the deep friendship between the US and Europe who believe in Jesus as the Son of God, and in Israel who believe in them (the infidels) as children. Although, a few centuries ago, they were thirsty for each other’s blood. If these differences are not greater than the Shi’ite Sunni differences, then no less. Similarly, the recent friendship between Saudi Arabia and Israel does not go unnoticed.
Generally speaking, the collective interests of the Muslim Ummah are discussed where there is no danger. Iran cooperated with the United States in ending the Taliban regime in 2001. Fully supported the US aggression in the fall of the Saddam regime in 2003. Egypt’s Morsi government is also an eyesore to Iran, as it continues to support President Bashar al-Assad’s opposition to the Syrian issue. For this reason, when the Morsi regime was ousted by a military coup, Iran did not react, but used its silent support in favor of military dictator General Sisi. In Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh’s government was overthrown by the Houthi tribes. Running the Indian spy club network from Iran is also a big question mark.
In such a situation, when there are too many allegations against Iran, it is only natural for a large number of Pakistanis to disobey Iran’s policies. But it is also important to note that if the Jews and Christians can unite with their differences, then the distribution of Shiite Sunni is not widespread. Despite many reservations, the US and Iran should be supported by Iran. The government made a homeopathic statement that was, in fact, an attempt to keep America happy. Khawaja Asif of the PML-N stood on the floor of the Assembly yesterday and spoke in support of Iran and strongly criticized the government.
The tragedy that the PML-N is suffering from now should leave its members for two or four months so that they do not appear in public and do dishonor. When the Morsi government was ousted during the N-League regime, the “revolutionary” leadership of the N-League did not go so far as to condemn the military revolution. According to Khawaja Asif, some are ashamed, some are vain, some are moral, which is currently useful to our ruling (government and opposition) class.
