With the success of its first model of connected scooter, Unu is about to launch the next generation. Expected release next September.
After electric scooters, will the streets of our cities make way for electric scooters? Maybe ! In the meantime, the French company Unu unveiled its new model, fruit of a collaboration with LG and Bosch.
100 kilometers of autonomy for Unu’s electric scooter
Unu is back on the market of the electric scooter with a second generation of devices, whose marketing is scheduled for next September. These two versions will be proposed: 2,3 or 4 KW. Level autonomy, Unu promises no less than 100 kilometers: enough to travel long distances before being stagnant energy.
This electric scooter is born from a collaboration with Bosch, designer of the battery – up to two can be integrated – but also with LG, in charge of the cells. It is thanks to the incorporation of two of these last ones (50 km each) that a total autonomy of 100 kilometers can be proposed. Note that this second generation electric scooter is able to carry up to two people for maximum profitability.
It is in September that will be marketed this new version of Unu electric scooters for a price starting at 2 799 euros. A price well below what Vespa and his electric scooter offers at $ 7,000.
An electric scooter, but also connected
The promise of clean energy is not the only one made by this electric scooter. Connectivity will also be offered through a brand new application. Many features will be available, such as geolocation or the display of the battery.
The app will also start the scooter connected with a virtual key and the ability to project the route on the screen of the machine … history not to take a look at his smartphone while driving.
