Recently, someone claiming to be TikTok influencer Hareem Shah on Twitter released a private video allegedly of cricketer Shaheen Afridi. The news spread like wildfire and people began to jump on different conclusions regarding the video as well as the identity of the poster. Now Hareem herself has spoken up on the matter.

Comparisons were made with similar leaks of Rabi Pirzada’s private videos just a day ago and there was naturally, a lot of victim blaming of Shaheen Afridi as well as Rabi Pirzada

Today is a day of learning for all.

People were also very skeptical of the Twitter account because to many people it looked like it was fake

Now the TikTok star herself confirmed and said that the Hareem Shah Twitter account is operated by someone else as a fake

In her statement, TikTok star Hareem Shah has clearly stated that she has no Twitter account or any association with the tweets that go out under her name.

Even the account of #HareemShah is also fake, she had confirmed that she’s only on @tiktok_us & @instagram all other accounts are fake..

They have also investigated the Twitter account claiming to be Hareem Shah and think that the account was under a man’s name earlier

Everyone is now left wondering who is defaming both, Shaheen Afridi and Hareem Shah

After people raised questions and Hareem Shah herself made a video about the account being fake it appears that the Twitter account has been deleted

This isn’t to say that Hareem has been free of controversy because she herself was recently investigated for entering the Foreign Office

She was scrutinized when her TikTok blew social media and people thought she entered Prime Minister’s House. She has also been previously criticized for photos and videos with politicians like Fazl-ur-Rehman and Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan. This time, she was forcefully dragged in leaking video of Shaheen Afridi, again making it to the news.

All this mess has raised a lot of questions: Who is behind Hareem Shah’s fake Twitter account? What is the motive to use Hareem’s name to defame Shaheen Afridi?
