Holly has more than a million followers on her Instagram account, where she regularly posts saucy snaps.

The Los Angeles-based model often travels across the country for modelling shoots and wanted to meet new people out of town to date.

The 26-year-old said: “I used clean pictures, did everything I was supposed to, swiped right on a couple people, I got some matches and then started binge watching Game of Thrones.

“Then after a couple hours I went back on saw a couple previews of messages and then got locked out of the app.

“The previews that I did see were ‘you’re probably not real’, ‘why would a girl like you be on tinder’. I didn’t even get to meet anyone or even really use the app!”

Holly added that she was unable to re-download the app and sign in, and didn’t manage to set up a single date.

She says she tried contacting Tinder for a refund but was refused without explanation.

“I figured I must have gotten flagged on there so I contacted Tinder and Apple asking for a refund,” she said.

“Tinder gave me no response and Apple said refunds are up to the discretion of the app. Tinder isn’t agreeing to it but they won’t tell us why.”

When asked why she was on the app, Holly said: “Models can be shy too!”

Holly, who previously worked in marketing and branding, started her Instagram page as an “experiment” to see how well she could brand herself and her page.

Over the years, she managed to more than 1.2million followers and counting and has even launched her own alcohol and lifestyle brand business.

Holy is often inundated with messages from her fans – and even gets strange requests from married men.

She said: “I have a lot of respect for people with fetishes so it takes a lot to weird me out.

However, just a couple of hours later, Holly claimed she found several messages from her matches insisting she was a fake account – and to her disbelief, she was later locked out of the app

“But the one I am always shocked by is when guys want me to ‘ruin them’ and reach out to their wives or girlfriends or even jobs if they don’t obey me.

“I’ve done it once and I could never do it again. Most of the time the requests are pretty normal though.”

Holly keeps herself busy preparing and uploading content on her sites throughout the week.

She said: “Half the week I’m shooting waking up at 6, doing hair and makeup, shooting stuff for Instagram and my subscription platforms and then I’m usually answering emails and then taking photos for my company’s Instagram.”
